i don’t have another server
besides i need it on that server

if it’s a server issue i can tweak anything because it’s a private server

already tried different browsers and different computers

i just noticed that the problem seems to be in post.php
when i load post-new.php everything works, but when i load post.php (the one that WP uses for editing posts) nothing works.
checked the source code of post.php to see any abnormality and the admin-footer isn’t there

i can’t seem to find any solution yet

@esmi yex, it’s a fresh install of WP with new files (i downloaded it via the repository this time)

@ussvisioninc it’s a similar issue, but that one is from a particular theme/plugin that i do not have and the aparent solution involves a tyweak on that theme

UPDATE

i used developer tools in firefox to determine the following JS error

ReferenceError: SwitchEditors is not defined

post.php:1

but i can’t seem to find the solution yet

any ideas?
it’s still the fresh installation of wordpress with the default theme and no plugins

Now i’ve deleted the whole database, deleted all the files
installed again wordpress 3.7.1
went to edit the “Hello Word” post and it’s the same issue than before

i mean.. i didn’t touch ANYTHING, no plugins, no themes, no nothing
just a blank installation of wordpress

i’ve checked the wp-config.php and and the absolute path was there

the problem is that i’ve already reuploaded all the core files and the problem is still there

(the visual editor in the profile isn’t checked)

right now you can see the site with the default theme
(i also deleted the folder of the previous theme, just in case)

i deactivated all plugins and deleted all the plugins folders

thanks for your response… none of this worked

– deleted all themes folders and switched to default theme
– deleted all plugin folders
– deleted wp-includes and wp-admin folders and reupload them (also the root files)

after deleting plugins folders, i’ve reinstalled the google-library plugin to see if that solves anything, but still the same issue
