Another thing I have noticed since the above, is that in the change password and reset password forms you can’t seem to change button_class like you can in other forms.

Is there a reason for this? It would seem to be an oversight. Thanks!

You’ll need to correct the HTML first – a check results in errors

If once you’ve deactivated the plugin and there is still an issue, check this page to see if there is an issue between the WordPress update and your host.

Can someone confirm if the compatibility issues with 1&1 is with 1and1.co.uk (UK based) or 1and1.com (US based) or both?

The page referred to above does not state which it is.

When trying to upgrade, it also stops at “unpacking the core update” message for me.

I previously used the plugin auto upgrade (which is deactivated) with no issues.

Is there a question in that, or just a statement?

As said above…

You still have lots of bad code from MS Word. Either remove the bad code or repaste your text from a text editor like notepad.

You’ve copied & pasted from MS Word by the looks of it. If you search this forum you will find that many times this has been pointed out to people. It causes problems. If you’re going to copy & paste, do so from a plain text editor such as Notepad.

You also have a couple of validation errors with your code, however the problem you mention is caused by the pasting from Word.
