In reply to: [All-In-One Security (AIOS) – Security and Firewall] cron job errorOK. I had it set to REMOTE_ADDR, which based on the informational text provided on that screen is said to be “the most secure setup, because when set correctly it is immune from being spoofed by an attacker.” It also correctly identifies my IP address so it seems like it should be the proper choice. Or is the wording incorrect and/or unclear?

In reply to: [All-In-One Security (AIOS) – Security and Firewall] cron job errorA screenshot showing what, exactly? For what it is worth, I use Cloudflare. It detects my IP (in the advanced settings screen) just fine (via Cloudflare and via ipify v4 and v6).

In reply to: [All-In-One Security (AIOS) – Security and Firewall] cron job errorMy settings seem fine and the error message doesn’t reference any IP address. It reads:
“AIOS_Helper::request_remote exception – cURL error 28: Operation timed out after 4000 milliseconds with 0 out of 12 bytes received”
Getting same error

In reply to: [All-In-One Security (AIOS) – Security and Firewall] cron job errorGetting the same
Yes, that seems to have fixed things.
I added it but still getting the error notices.
Yes, actually, I am using a server-side cron.

In reply to: [Enhanced Text Widget] PHP WarningUPDATE: I am still getting this error on one of my sites but not the other (same server) so that seems strange.
I cannot answer your question because it is a warning that I am merely noticing in my error_log file. I wouldn’t notice it browsing my site anyway as I don’t have PHP errors set for that. But it should be a simple fix on your end (check that exists first I would think).

In reply to: [Enhanced Text Widget] PHP WarningOh, I just noticed you updated the plugin 4 days ago for PHP compatibility and I hadn’t updated yet so I am guessing that will correct the warning I was seeing.

In reply to: [Favorites] Fatal error on admin ajax loadsI just switched to PHP 8 and had the same problem (well, the actual error listed was different but same file/line). Thanks for the fix. Hope the developer adds this before the next update.

I second this request. Love HTML Forms and would be great if your plugin supports it.

In reply to: [Newsletters] PHP 8 compatibilityI am also wondering about this as not only is it mildly incompatible, it completely breaks my site if I switch to PHP 8.0, which I would very much like to do. Please advise on what plans you have to address this.
Thanks. I have updated the plugin. Unfortunately, as I wasn’t really doing anything to trigger the email the first time (and haven’t received another since), I don’t know of anyway to test that it is working. But, of course, I will be sure to let you know if somehow I do get another warning email.
