Sorry for late reply.

Would you please do a following steps and check if there is no conflict with theme or plugin code?

1. Change the theme to default WordPress theme for temporary and check if it works. If it works then there may be your theme using some contact form 7 validation code already which is affecting.
2. If changing the theme and still doesn’t work then deactivate one by one plugin temporary and check.

Indeed we found some issue regarding radio button and checkbox, it’s resolved in newer update v1.2.1.

You can update to latest version.

Please follow below steps to check:

1. If you are using older version of Contact Form 7 or Custom Validation Message for Contact Form 7 plugin then upgrade it.
2. Disable any other contact form 7 addon if any.
3. Switch to default WordPress theme temporary.
