I have rolled back both plugins but it still won’t work – I still get the manual upgrade prompt and a link, which when followed gives me a page that says this:
Business Directory – Manual Upgrade
Business Directory features are currently disabled because the plugin needs to perform a manual upgrade before it can be used.
Click “Start Upgrade” and wait until the process finishes.I click Start Upgrade and nothing happens

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Error xml_rpc-32601Here’s the solution for anyone else who has this issue with JetPack on staging.
Thanks to Carolyn for providing it
Jetpack has checks in place to prevent obvious staging sites from being able to connect Jetpack as most people clone from their live, production site and these checks are to avoid problems. Jetpack saves a blog ID and a token (think user name and password) in the database when you first connect that is unique to specific URL. Cloning a site without disconnecting Jetpack also clones that blog ID and token.
If you’re cloning a live, active, connected site to a new site, then the new site is trying to interact with WordPress.com using the original site’s information. This can cause a whole slew of issues, both now and down the road, which is why we have these checks in place.
If you need to test features that rely on the connection, I would recommend enabling Staging Mode for this site:
https://jetpack.com/support/staging-sites/While in Staging Mode, you staging site will act like your production site in virtually all ways except no data is passed up to WordPress.com and you cannot disconnect the staging site (to prevent an issue that would lead to problems with your production site).

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Error xml_rpc-32601I have just tried deleting the staging copy, then installing Jetpack on the main site and activating it, then creating a new staging copy.
However, when I log into that, Jetpack is disconnected and the error message is exactly the same.

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Yoast SEO has been updated to version 3.2.3Hiya Taco. Just pushed a site to 3.2.4 and the notifications are worse than ever. Dismiss them and they just keep coming back.
Well pretty much… running the latest update appears to have fixed it. Thanks

In reply to: [Mingle Forum] Signup/Register button doesn't display the signup form.It would seem that the best answer is use another plugin. Mingle is no longer on the repo, and according to this post on wp.org forums it’s insecure too.
I just found this not working on one site, then saw the thread above where the author promised security fixes in v1.1. Then I looked at the version on my site and it was 1.0.34, so I’ve deleted it as we can’t take the risk.
Hope that helps.

In reply to: [Mingle Forum] Is mingle out of business ?Me neither and all the support links have been redirected. It seems it’s no longer supported either.
We have it on one site so it looks like we’ll have to remove the forum or switch to BuddyPress.
Same issue for me – WooCommerce 2.2.8, WordPress 4.0 and the latest version of WooThemes Canvas.
On installation I get The plugin does not have a valid header error, so I hit the back button (getting an install failed message), then to the main plugins screen, where the plugin appears as it should.
Activate it from there and it will work. I added my settings and it correctly output these into the order-received page.
So it works but there’s a glitch on activation.
Hope this helps.
