Thanks for the quick fix, now updated to 10/11 nightly. I like to live dangerously.

The page is posted in one category only, general, with no option to change it. How do I create a template that doesn’t override the themes and is recognized by the editor?
I did see where changing the theme, I still got the page correctly themed.

Nother problem, when I used templates, ie single.php in the main directory, it didn’t work with Themes as the the default overrided the theme. How does this work with Themes?

Ah, ok, just have to figure out how to make the templates. That makes sense.

Only way to add those is thru a themes and there it would need to be an option for a template_redirect in wp-blog-header.php although the page feature would be perfect for stories.

Next problem, it looks just like a post and I am unable to put things in it that are out of the post loop. Little problem if I want an expanded links list or stats.

Fixed, had to edit the .htaccess to get it to work.

I tried creating a page with the edit-pages.php and when I try to view the page, I get a 404 file not found.

I lost my quicktags in Safari using the latest nightly. However, they are there in Camino. Might try another browser if using an unstable version.

I have the same error, using latest 10/05 build, getting the 404. I noted that I got:

Note it ignored what goes between the slashes. Updating the .htaccess didn’t work either.

Oh forgot, might have to load all the images in the header.php as is done in Kubrick and not call them from the stylesheet. Some problem with differing install paths. Which means breaking up the index.php file.

The Dick Cheney thing automatically downloaded and I prefer visiting a site where stuff doesn’t automatically download.

In the CSS, at the top, there should be something that says what name it is like so:

If you put the wrong name in, like if you upload the Kubrick css for Lack of Love, it will display Kubrick. I haven’t checked to see if having spaces in the folder title makes a difference like it does with the skins. Oh and the stylesheet should probably be titled style.css. Worked for me.

Hmmm, first impressions, go with the Charlize skin. I have always loved that one and it has been a source of inspiration for my skins for a long time. And they all look good in Safari.
