Thank YOU for working with me to solve it!
I just tried the 2nd plug-in version you provided, it returned the same error as before.
Creating the table manually fixed the problem.
Thanks a lot for your help!

Thanks again, I’ll try that, but probably not today.
It only happened with those two sites, all other sites I maintain are hosted elsewhere and had no such problems.
In case both suggestions fail, I’ll be back here as soon as I got the log files (they make you pay for them btw).
Thanks a lot and no sweat, it’s a Sunday after all. I just tested the version you provided, but the error remains the same and I can’t even activate it.
I’ll return here if and when I got an answer from the hosting provider (HostEurope btw.)

And MySQL is “5.7.40-43-log”.
Thanks for your reply, Ashley.
Edit: sorry, I had a look at the wrong tab at first: yes, both of them do exist. debug_log ist completely empty.

In reply to: [Out of the Block: OpenStreetMap] Couple of issues…Sorry to hijack, but
1. that’s’s exactly what I just wanted to post: it always focuses on the Acropolis in Athens (
minus the trick of using a second marker exactly on top of the first one, thanks for the inspiration, nick. One could even use a transparent pixel as a hidden second marker, but that still is just a hackdoesn’t work, marker image is set on a global level for all markers).2. I did not check different width settings.
3. The Link to openstreetmaps.org in the map’s footer is broken, as it is prefixed with the url of the original site.
4.Dragging in Chrome’s dev mode on a mobile site changes the zoom level. I cannot say, if it is the same on a mobile device, yet.
Thanks for the great plugin, too.

In reply to: [cformsII] Getting the referrerThanks for your reply.
I understand, I didn’t know about those risks.
Every form submission with a referrer of the original site is ok.
Messages with the referrer of other domains are just being ignored. That is the one common pattern they match: they are not the original domain. It would be counterproductive to block them from accessing the site, though, it’s better to just ignore those submissions. That’s why the feature was handy.

In reply to: [cformsII] Getting the referrerThanks. I just found this on github in the version history:
= 15.0.2 =
* bugfix: validate {IP} being an IP address, preventing CSRF or other similar attacks
* other: remove {Referer} substitution variableI do not understand why this has been removed. It is not a privacy violation to use this header information. In the use case I’m dealing with, people decide how to act on the form based on that (and yes, this practice has been thought about intensively, there is no better way to deal with their specific situation.)
Please add this functionality back into 15.0.4.

In reply to: [cformsII] Getting the referrerYep. To further clarify: I’d like to get the external links people followed to reach the form and send that URL with the email. I am not in control of those links, so I have to rely on the knowingly unreliable http referrer.

In reply to: [Multi Device Switcher] Number of menu entries cut offOk, I’m able to answer this myself, via the support forums for a similar plug-in I found this solution (in fact it was just the wrong menu that got displayed):
In order to set a different main menu for the mobile theme, you have to register the menu location of the mobile theme with the same name in your main theme, too. Assign the custom mobile menu to that menu location and you’re done.
Lots of themes already use ‘primary’ for that matter, therefore you’ll probably have to change that name in your mobile theme, if you are already using ‘primary’ in your main theme.
Thanks for keeping it alive ??
