I’m suffering from the same thing!

When I upload images they are blank….

I’ve reset my 20-11 theme, deactivated my plugins, deleted them and reinstalled them individually while trying to upload images at each stage of doing this, and I still can’t even use my own images for the header, never mind in a page or post.

One guy suggested I check where my files are stored but there’s no settings to change on that front?!

Has anyone ever seen this problem before and had it fixed?

In my media settings it only goes over sizes, can’t see anything related to files in there bar a storing them by month/year tick box.

The ones I want are connected to the pages I want them on in the Media Library too – just gives a image name rather than the picture its self.

But nothing there to say where they should be stored.
