Thanks! It made the logo smaller, however the “Subs” is still on a lower line.

Thank you for your help. It worked, but now I think maybe I should either make the logo smaller or take the “Subs” out of the title and just make it Sea Breeze Bakery & Cafe so it will fit on one line.

You are correct! Sorry, I forgot to leave the logo on there. Now it’s there. Where do you think it would look best, and is it doable? He didn’t have a file with the logo, but it was on the front of the T-shirts he sells, so I just took a picture of it. (He gave me a T-shirt, too)

What about the footer? Is there a code for that, too?

I am meeting with my client at 4:00 today, so I hope to hear back from you soon so I can change it before then. It’s 2:30 pm here right now. If not, that’s OK, too.
I don’t totally understand what you said about the menu and child theme, but I will read it again and see if I get it. lol I will also look for a plugin that may work.

I fixed the problem myself. The transparency on the featured images was set to 50%, so I changed it and it looks much better now. ??

Actually, it looks like the transparent film shows on both desktop and mobile, which makes sense now that I think about it, since it’s 1 website for both. Duh!

That was the problem. I changed the posts to pages and then the panel options came back. It even looks OK on my mobile site now. So, I don’t think you need the screen shot now, correct?

But…now I have two Welcome pages, one on top of each other, and it looks like there’s a transparent film over the top of the site, especially the mobile view. The header disappeared when I changed to pages instead of posts, so I set a featured image on the Welcome page, but I’m not sure if that’s what i was supposed to do.

It’s starting to get there. I hope to be able to finish it by the end of the week. My fingers are crossed. I still have to add the menu.

I think I have to find another way to make money. This is a pain! I think next time I will outsource and charge more for the site. Thanks so much again for your help.

Thanks so much for your assistance on this. I followed your instructions and unfortunately it didn’t work. That’s so weird, too, because like I mentioned earlier, the panels were just there, and then after reading about others who had them disappear, I went to check and they were gone!! LOL

On another note, I added a new font as per my client’s wishes, but now when i look at the site on a mobile phone, the logo covers part of the first panel. Hmmm. I think some css is probably needed? If I hold the phone in the landscape mode, it looks great!

Do you have any ideas about either of these issues?

Thanks for the response! Sorry if this is a silly question, but how do I re-upload an un-edited copy of functions.php? I looked at the link you sent me about child themes and I don’t even see the 2010 version listed there. I hope I’m not screwed! Maybe I can get someone on fiverr.com to do it for me.
