i installed the free SendPress Newsletters Version 1.8.12.18 on 09.01.18 for testing. When i subscribe a new user, i found the Senseless text first with the plugin E-Mail Log Version 2.2.4 and later in the email-source also.

My setup is near standard:

Mail in E-Mail log as View and Raw:

E-Mail Log RAW

in User-Email it is removed or in the Spam-trey:
user_Email
