It works only with ‘public’ custom port type.
If you have a not public custom post type you can’t see it in your types list and there aren’t filter or hook that you can use to set in different way the arguments used to retrieves the post types list.

I’m looking for this feature too.
I’m going to create a wordpress site in the next weeks and i plan to make Android and iOS apps too.
The blog use social login/subscription and also via app i need it.
I’m not looking into WSL plugin code, but i have a little idea about a possible solution.
I’ll looking for it not before next month.

i’m writing a ‘must-use’ plugin, so, i read automatic update for this kind of plugins doesn’t work… but i don’t understand if is possible obtain update notification or not.
for this reason i’m looking for the api to check update, maybe could i notify at users that a new version is available.

The plugin override the WP standard [gallery] shortcode.
