I’ve added this code in additional css:

@media(max-width:480px){.featured-image {
display: none;
}}

Seems to have done the trick! Grateful if you could let me know if that code is correct.

At least in my case – the message disappeared again. It was up for about a month and a half annoying me. Luckily it didn’t seem to change anything. It’s very unnerving to see that message – Yoast should really fix this bug.

I’ve actually had it for the past month and a half now. Its surprising they do not offer a fix. Am actually thinking of installing another SEO plugin – if Yoasts changes permalink of my site it will kill my business.

Hi Eric, after my post 4 months ago it ddissapeared about a week later. Then the message reappeared again last week, stayed around for a few days then dissapeared again. The good thing is it doest change anything on the site as far as I can tell. Just ignore until it goes away.

This is a good question. I would like to know this as well. What is the advertising support you are referring to?

Hi Joseph – the webp images only show on the site if I have the picture method enabled. As the problem appears only for webp images (no other formats) switching off WebP means those links do not appear any more – hence the problem goes away. But so will the webP images.

If I disable the Imagify plugin the webP images will not show – because the picture method will not be enabled.

Unfortunately I am using Cloudflare – so the “rewrite rules” is not an option that is available to me.
