I will. But why is it appearing in the 404s tab, then? Doesn’t that mean someone tried to navigate there, and got a 404 instead of the new page?

And why, when I click on both versions in the 404s tab, do they both go to a blank 404 page rather than the new URL?

And why does it not work when I type the URL in manually?

The redirects are being created automatically.

The redirect is as follows:

Old: /difference-free-total-chlorine

New: /total-free-chlorine-difference/

I do see the old URL lacks the trailing slash. However, if I type it in *with* the trailing slash, the way it actually was, I get the site’s custom 404 page.

In the 404s tab, the old URL is appearing both ways, with and without the trailing slash. Both of those go to the blank 404 page.

I hope I’m not violating etiquette by responding here, but I’m having the same problem.

If I go into the Redirects tab, first, the Check Redirect does nothing. If I click on the old URL, it goes to the new one.

But that old URL is also appearing in the 404s tab. So I typed it in manually, and sure enough, was sent *not* to the site’s custom 404 page, but a blank 404 page that just says the page doesn’t exist.

Old URL manually typed in: https://www.swimuniversity.com/difference-free-total-chlorine/

New URL it should redirect to: https://www.swimuniversity.com/total-free-chlorine-difference/

Just switched to this plugin from Yoast Premium a few days ago, and now have more than 10,000 404s on the site.

What is going on and can you possibly fix it? This plugin used to work perfectly.

Hi Chelsea! It does look like an issue with Bloglovin. And even if it is something going on with your site (I’m not seeing anything obviously wrong), they should be able to tell you what’s not playing well with them. ??

Yes, I do have that activated. It may have just taken it a little while to kick in because I see now that it is drawing my custom meta description. Yay! Thank you for getting back to me! Happy holidays!
