Thank you. The main problem appears to be that I was using the “own” category – that has now been fised.

Now I am having some formatting problems with inconsistent output and no urls other than the word “url”. I will let you know how/if I have fixed this.

    Thanks again

    Hello

actually it now seems to be ok. It needed some time to synchronise although I thought I had done so.

Thank you for responding to the message

I am not sure I follow. I have mendeley citations (information) which include a DOI. All the usual pieces of information are displayed but not the DOI. Maybe I need to experiment with the styles a bit more

No problem… thank you for doing all of this work.

    Hello Michael

Just updated the plugin and now have a sorting problem… Actually it is the opposite of the above issue.

I do have sortbyorder=”desc” and it seemed to be operating well (I confess I have not looked lately as all was going well). But it now sorts ascending…

you can see my page at: https://gocultures.com/apl/publications-and-presentations/

Also on an interesting sidenote. When I displayed my page. No publications showed up. I removed all the caches and refreshed and they reappeared (after a very long time … but that is “normal” in my case). I then restored the caches and everything seems back to normal (except for the ordering issue).

    Thank you.

Thank you very much for the change. I notice though that there is still a big space above the first display in each section – maybe it’s me.

I am not keen to hack the plugin code as I will have to re-hack it every time the plugin is updated.

I will experiment a bit – but thanks it looks great now.

Thanks for the information. Maybe it’s because I am connecting from Thailand BUT the connection seems to be very slow (and my server small and maybe the theme too heavy).

It currently takes maybe 5 minutes to populate the page (I do not have the cache switched on as I am currently making quite a lot of additions to my Mendeley collection).

Here is what is written under the field Mendeley Access Token – and yes it now seems to refresh itself – so maybe it’s just my connection – maybe I should try a lighter theme.

Thanks for your help (yet again)

    Hello again

one more thing I noticed (you can see it too at the URL I gave you previously) is that in addition to there being extra vertical space, there is also extra horizontal space, e.g. between the name of the article and the name of the journal, or between the editor’s first name and last name.

All the best and thank you

Hello and thanks for the new plugin. It now shows the citations correctly. However, there is a new (small) problem: Spacing between the citations seems to be much bigger than before (2 lines instead of one). There is a possibility that it is my editor’s fault but, if it is, then I cannot see where.

You can see what I am talking about at: https://gocultures.com/apl/publications-and-presentations/

    Thanks for any thoughts.

Thank you so much for your response. I am under the impression that TOWN (towns) searching is possible. Am I right? It does not seem to work.

It looks like all the problems have been resolved – the APA citations are now appearing correctly. THANK YOU!

As a followup. I now notice that no matter what csl file I use (supplied by you or supplied by zotero) the name of the journal is not there. If I remove the csl file completely then the information appears. Sorry I did not notice this earlier – I guess I was really happy at the fact that the tag filter was working and this detail escaped me.

This happens in the peer-reviewed/refereed section of my publications and the documents are all identified as “Journal article”. The request looks like this:

    [mendeley type=”own” sortby=”year” sortorder=”desc” filter=”tag=refereed” csl=”https://gocultures.com/cstyles/modern-language-association.csl” ]

Turning the cache on and off seems to make no difference.

A typical article used to look like this (I made a copy for a paper CV):

Lian, A.-P., 2011. Reflections on Language Learning in the 21st Century: the Rhizome at Work. Rangsit Journal of Arts and Sciences, 1(1), pp.3-15.

Sorry to do this to you but…

In the past I was able to use the harvard1.csl style to give a reasonable citation style with all the necessary information, now the name of the Journal is no longer visible. If I remove citation style, all the information is there but in the wrong order.

    Any thoughts??

Interesting… I turned off caching and the results came out ok. I turned the caching on again and it is still ok… (Caching once a day).

I do not get minus one in other segments. I will turn off the cache and see what happens
