You are welcome.
If e-mails end up in your SPAM folder, this is probably because the IP address of your host is blacklisted. Maybe other users are spamming from the same IP address. You can present the problem to your web host or you can use an mail sending service instead of your own server (like SendGrid) to work around this problem. This can be used in conjunction with a plugin like WP Mail SMTP.

In reply to: [Download After Email - Subscribe & Download Form Plugin] Critical errorHi,
I have just tested your download form and everything works fine up to and including the download. Which error do you see exactly and when does it appear?
Best regards,
Team Download After EmailHi,
Good to hear that you like our plugin.
This is because you have not selected a download file. Select your download file and save your download form again.
If you have any more questions, feel free to ask.
Best regards,
Team Download After EmailHi,
Did you enable the php_fileinfo extension in your PHP configuration settings? This is enabled by default normally. You can do this in your DirectAdmin/cPanel environment, or ask your hosting.
Hi there,
Good to hear that you like our plug-in.
This is the right way to work around it, but we will adjust this behaviour with the next update, so this patch is no longer needed. That way it’s easier to implement the shortcode by using do_shortcode().
The CSS is indeed not loaded via the shortcode function. We will leave it this way so that you always have the possibility to write the CSS yourself.
Thanks for noticing. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask.
Best regards,

In reply to: [Download After Email - Subscribe & Download Form Plugin] HTML format issuesHi,
HTML changes are needed to correctly display embedded images in your email content.
We found this problem could be due to the use of month- and year-based upload folders. We will come up with a solution with the next update. In the meantime, you could upload these images with this setting disabled (admin menu->settings->media).
Please let us know if it has been resolved and if you have any more questions, feel free to ask.
Best regards,
Team Download After EmailHi Nicolas,
Since version 2.0 the email subject has been made translatable too. Thank you for noticing. The email message/content is translatable, if it is left empty on the messages settings page.

Team Download After EmailAbout using images as download files:
It is not supported to use an image as a download file by our plugin to prevent conflicts with the media library. If you want to offer one or more images as download file, you can use a compressed .zip file that contains your image(s).About using checkboxes:
Since version 2.0 you can enable/disable an optional checkbox (for marketing / integration Mailchimp / custom integrations via hook) and enable/disabe a required checkbox (for privacy policy). You can adjust the text of the checkboxes. If you have any more questions, feel free to open a new ticket.

In reply to: [Download After Email - Subscribe & Download Form Plugin] Ajax 403Hi,
I just tested your download form and everything works fine, no 403 error in console. Maybe you already solved it?
If you have any more questions, feel free to ask.

In reply to: [Download After Email - Subscribe & Download Form Plugin] second checkboxHi,
With the upcoming update you can use an optional checkbox (for marketing / integration Mailchimp) and a required checkbox (for privacy policy) in your download forms or turn them off. You can change the text of the checkboxes.
You can only add your own checkboxes to the form by adding your own code via hooks and filters.
Hi Rob,
There was a bug related to the creation and location of the dae-uploads folder, in particular with month- and year-based upload folders. This has been solved and corrected in version 1.9.
This correction (moving the dae-uploads folder and files) may not have been successful for everyone, so you have to select your download file again (remove from media and upload again) and save your download.
We apologize for this inconvenience. Please let us know if it has been solved.
I noticed that css of your theme influences the appearance of your download forms. A tip to solve this:
i[class*="fa-"], span[class*="fa-"] { height: auto; }
We want to build in a possibility so that you can choose whether the checkbox is optional, required (or disabled). We try to do this as soon as possible with the next update, although this may take some time. We try to release the next update within 2 weeks.
No, this is not possible. It’s not recommended because data about the user is stored by our plugin, such as the IP address. The checkbox gives the possibility to inform users about how this data will be used.
Hi Pedro,
You’re welcome and thank you for your nice comment! We are glad to help you.
We will use your tips to provide more clarity for newcomers.
Best regards,
Team Download After EmailYou are right, there seems to be a bug. Selecting an image as download file is not working properly.
We will resolve this with the next update.
Thank you for letting us know.
