I figured out that applying the “fade” effect rather than the “slide” effect makes the carousel load as intended. Not sure why this is the case, but I was able to fix some of the issues I was having.
I also had to create new slideshows for mobile view since using the short-code in more than one place messes with the plugin and it will only use one metaslider of that ID.

Oh I see.
Yeah I used the same short-code pertaining to the modal on two different short-code elements. And the modal short-code uses the Metaslider short-code. I suppose that would explain the interaction with mobile devices if Metaslider looks for only one instance of the slider.
What do you think about why my other Metasliders don’t load until the screen resizes?
My apologies, it wasn’t my intention to get attention for support. I definitely tried over two days to get things to work, and I concluded that it just doesn’t work as intended.
It’s the same modal used on mobile and desktop. Hopefully we can resolve it on Monday, thanks for your response.
Hi @kbat82
Here’s my ticket. 5 stars for me would for the carousel to appear on load for all instances of its use as well as be working on mobile.
Also, my carousels don’t load on the other modals unless I move the window size. Odd interaction.
