I failed to follow one of the primary rules of forum posting which is look before you post… I’ll try to upgrade my PHP before opening another post.

I ended up fixing mine. From the tips in another post, I renamed my plugins folder to plugins.hold and the logged it. The dashboard appeared and then I went to the plugins page. It deactivated (but still kept) the plugins. Then I went back in to my host, renamed the folder back to plugins and refreshed my admin page. I was then able to selectively re-activate my plugins.
