Great, but my “test” donation made after the update is not reflected in the donations list. As previously stated, only two donations are listed dated 10/6/14 and 6/6/15.

I deleted the old version and installed version 4.0.6. I submitted a donation via the website and received confirmation e-mails from PayPal. Below you will find our log data detailing activity from 24JUL2015 through 23AUG2015. Donations recorded on 17AUG2015, 19AUG2015 and 23AUG2015 are not listed on the “Donations” page. Only donations received 06OCT2014 and 06JUN2016 are listed.

Have you found the “bug” you referred to in your previous response? ??

From what I’ve been able to research it looks like it might be the “listener.” Is that on my end or PayPal’s? Also, I no longer have fund designations displayed on my donation form although it is set up in settings under form options. Does this upgrade no longer support fund designations?

I have version 4.0.3 of Seamless Donations with the palm tree icon. Below you will find an exerpt from the log that lists donations that are not reflected in the report. Our report only lists two donations – on one 10/1/14 and the other on 6/1/15.

Thank you for the information, but we no longer want the Joomla site. We created the WP site in a sub-folder in our directory (damascusbc.com/site). The Joomla site resides on damascusbc.com. I just want to move the WP site to domain and remove the Joomla site.

Thank you, SongDogTech. That would explain why some of the widgets that were available with WordPress.com are not installed on my GoDaddy host. I had to search and install comparable plugins and download the theme (Stay) to import it. At least I have added to my knowledge base for future projects.

Okay…I read the article, but now I need clarification. To me, my “old site” is the existing website on the 3rd party web host server and my “new site” is the website I created on my laptop that I wish to move to the 3rd party web host server to replace the existing website.

So step 1 of “If You Don’t Care Whether Your Old Site Works” instructs you to edit wp-config.php of your OLD site to suit the new server, but my “old site” is on the server I want to use. Step 2 directs you to change the URL of the old site to that of the new site, but I want the new site to have the same URL of my old site.

Am I misunderstanding the instructions? Or do I have the concept of moving a newly created website on my laptop (not public on the Internet) to my 3rd party web host server via ftp or other methods to replace/remodel my existing website totally misconstrued?

The website is located on my localhost (WebMatrix) with WordPress 3.9.1 installed.

The search and replace script did not resolve the issue.

The website is still on my localhost and not displaying properly. The old site is still working on web host’s server and working properly. The search and replace script did not correct the challenge I am facing now which is the wp website on my localhost is displaying content (text and images) with a white background. The theme has been switched from Sensitive to Twentyfourteen by changing the theme folder name (sensitive to sensitive-old) because the wp admin panel is not working. I can access the wp admin panel (only when logging in through wp-login.php) and navigate to different areas (appearance, plugins, settings, etc.), however none of the actions initiated (i.e., activating a theme, deactivating a plugin) execute. Changes to the website only occur now if I make changes in wp_options.

Now what?!

So…is this a theme issue?

So….is anyone able to help? Am I left with having to start from scratch? Do I unistall/reinstall WordPress? WebMatrix? Neither? Both?

The admin panel indicates the active theme is 2014. The website content (text and images) display, but the background is white.

I created the site using Sensitive so I guess it was the default. How do I set the default theme when the wp admin panel isn’t working. Do I change the settings in wp-content folder or the wp_options table?
