Thanks, Dalton. I didn’t know that uploading automatically without inserting into a post creates a gallery. I’m a little confused as to how to organize galleries and will just go ahead and play w/ WP some more.

The slideshow works … to a point. If there’s another slideshow or media thing going on beneath the post (e.g. NextGEN Gallery slideshow), it bombs – either only a sliver of the photos appear, or the next post appears in the middle of the slideshow. I don’t have time to screencapture the movement right now, but when I do, I’ll send the behavior to you.

Just as an FYI, the theme I’m using is Portfolio Press 0.7.4 by Devin Price.

Hi, I can’t get it to run either. Just see the loading arrow activate and then disapper. I followed your instructions, and noticed a few things missing on my setup.

When I use the Media Uploader, I notice that I do not have the “Gallery” option. Just “from computer” “from URL” and “Media Library”.

It seems I need another plugin called “Gallery”. Is that correct?

I’m bummed this isn’t working as it seems beautifully simple ??

Instead I’m using NextGEN Gallery and that works well enough.
