In reply to: [Autoptimize] Problems with css “inline” and “inline and defer”Hello Frank,
sorry, but it seems that it’s not that solved as I thought. Something seems to be changed. Since we had no problems and a good result with GPSI with the pages a few hours ago, now it’s changing and the results become worse. While the results on our english and spanish frontpage are still okay
https://www.van-bevern.com/en/
https://www.van-bevern.com/es/the result on the german frontpage
became worse, especially regarding the prioritize visible content. Google is rendering only 15% of the final above-the-fold content again.
How can it be? The english and spanisch frontpages are just WPML-translations of the original german homepage. Why they are generating different results and why the results are changing?
Thanks for helping!
Michael

In reply to: [Autoptimize] Problems with css “inline” and “inline and defer”Hello Frank,
wow, I’m impressed, what a fast reply! Thanks! I’ve switched as you guess to “inline and defer” and – what shall I say – I’ve no idea what happens, but to my surprise the problem is gone. At least for the moment. We’ve still some pages with a few css above the fold, but nothing like we had before – only 3 css in some cases like this:
https://www.van-bevern.com/en/our-properties/country-houses/
and the “problem”, that the revolution slider fails with Google Rendering:
https://www.van-bevern.com/en/contact/
but it’s working on live pages. If it’s not longer changing like before – yesterday sometimes we had really good GPSI-results and a little bit later worse ones with sometime up to 17 css above the fold – we would be happy. Hope it works now!
Thanks again!
Michael
