Just a couple of things to get straight:

1. I have been trying for days to back up these files; it didn’t just now dawn on me that I needed to do that.

2. Let’s assume that I am a terrorist or criminal of some sort, and I post something that the Homeland Security people would take an interest in. Are you telling me that, once I cancel the domain, the Dept of Homeland Security has no access to the files? That WordPress doesn’t have a backup somewhere that they could produce if a person knew how to ask right?

Okay, I confess I have no idea what any of that meant. Furthermore, I no longer have the luxury of simply transferring files. I have been trying to do that for days, but now disputationstation.com has been cancelled. Somewhere, WordPress has a backup of these files. Getting there is proving tricky.

I am not a programmer, so phpMyAdmin and other such semantic intricacies are like third-year Greek to me.
