I’m hosted by a friend who has dedicated servers.

So.. I suppose I should talk to him about setting up the pretty links first. Since he’s my host admin. ^^;

I hope the original poster is using widgets as well, as those are easy to remove. ^^;

I assume he/she has the whole sidebar in mind. Categories, blogroll, etc.
But I figure instead of me making a new thread with the same question/inquiry in mind, I’ll just use this one.

I want to get rid of the archives, and rename ‘Categories’ to something else. Which specific file would I go about doing that in?

I’m using the painter theme, but I imagine it’d be universal in all themes.

Bumping so the original poster can see it, and possibly someone who can tell me how he removed the blogroll and such… (unless he/she responds to the question. XD)

I just checked in the header, and it uses that.

You have the home page on the navbar twice. XD;;;
Also.. can I ask how you moved the sidebar to the left side? I’d like to do that for my site also.

Thanks a lot. I figured out how to do it.

I right clicked the background image and it said /wp-content/uploads/header1.png couldn’t be found. so i just changed my header’s name to that, created the uploads folder, and it appeared. Yay.

…now to make the text disappear.

I suppose bumping isn’t allowed, but my thread moved to the second page.
From experience in other forums, no one really bothers exploring past the first page.

I can upload the header image that I want, but it doesn’t show up. =\
However, if I make any text changes, those show up.
