Hi there, yes I sent an email yesterday morning at 7.03 to [email protected] – please check and confirm you have recieved this email?
Many thanks.
Hi there,
Many thanks for your quick response. I found the CSS I included by inspecting the website and comparing with, without the plugin. On checking again the CSS is coming from the following:
/wp-content/plugins/logo-carousel-free/public/assets/css/style.css?ver=3.1.2
I can’t activate your plugin again for any length of time with this issue I’m afraid. Hopefully the above information is all you need now? I can send you a screen shot privately if needed but I can’t put it publically on this forum.
I would really like to use your plugin so if you could amend your CSS below to specifically refer to the images in the carousel rather than all images and videos that would be great…
img, video {
height: auto;
max-width: 100%;
}Many thanks in advance.
Is there any way I can share a link privately please?
Thank you.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [MC4WP: Mailchimp for WordPress] New MailChimp GDPR Fields Query@matttechmodular some of my sites had a button opening up a pop-up (part of the theme itself) it isn’t looking like the theme popup will be updated in time so I have changed the button to just link directly to the MailChimp signup form itself which has all the GDPR fields on it. These sites were not using this plugin at all and at the time of writing the post I thought it might be an option to consider also for sites using this plugin.
It’s not exactly been clear what was needed and it’s all a bit lastminute.com so it could be an option for some websites to save a bit of hassle / quickly comply.

In reply to: [MC4WP: Mailchimp for WordPress] GDPR Logging SettingSo the only way to switch it off completely is going to be the config setting even after the new functionality is added?
Many thanks.

In reply to: [MC4WP: Mailchimp for WordPress] GDPR section is missing in created FormJust realised I need mc4wp- in front of INTERESTS. I’ve now tested it with [mc4wp_checkbox] included too and it has worked.
Not exactly neat and tidy but it works.
Thanks.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [MC4WP: Mailchimp for WordPress] GDPR section is missing in created FormThanks for the clarification on the hidden / implicit option. I’ve changed it to not hidden and tried the following on a contact form but it doesn’t appear to be working.
<p><input name=”INTERESTS[12345678][]” type=”checkbox” value=”I agree” /> I want to join your mailing list & consent to my details being sent to MailChimp in accordance with their Privacy Policy and Terms</p>
Note: actual code/number in INTERESTS[] replaced with 12345678.
It does work with your own form on Subscribe only page with no contact form but not as just a ‘Join our mailing list’ checkbox on a contact form 7 form. Do we also need to include this…
[mc4wp_checkbox]
…as well as this interest group checkbox above for it to work on Contact Form 7?
Many thanks in advance.

In reply to: [MC4WP: Mailchimp for WordPress] GDPR section is missing in created FormI think this is what I need to for my contact form 7 signup – I assume the implicit hidden option is only set if someone clicks the ‘Join my mailing list’ checkbox from your Contact Form 7 integration settings?? Or do we need to switch that off and not use and implicit hidden option / code but use the unhidden code as shown in this?

In reply to: [MC4WP: Mailchimp for WordPress] New MailChimp GDPR Fields QueryMailChimp is telling you to segment your list for your different types of contact methods, such as email, direct mail etc. But these segments don’t seem to show up for selection on your forms so are you saying we have to ignore what they have said and set up different interest groups (not segments) for these different contact method permissions?
It seems as though to still use your plugin we have to not also use their signup forms at all otherwise there will be an issue with different people giving permissions in different ways? If I’m understanding correctly that is?
Some of my clients will have already followed MailChimps advice and set up things as they recommend / suggest I think. The easiest thing in some cases might be to be link straight to the MailChimp signup form.
Thank you in advance!

In reply to: [MC4WP: Mailchimp for WordPress] New MailChimp GDPR Fields QueryMany thanks for the extra information – much appreciated. Will the features you mentioned at the start of your reply be available soon? Before 25th May?
Many thanks.
Could really do with knowing when these features will be made available please?
Many thanks.
Hi there, does this new checkbox tie in with the new fields MailChimp has added to their system allowing you to add GDPR fields to their sign up forms?
Or is it completely unrelated to their GDPR fields?
Sorry if I’ve missed something somewhere – I have read your GDPR compliance post in the knowledge base and am trying to get my head round how it works / integrates with MailChimp in respect of GDPR and gaining consent.

In reply to: [Subscribe2 - Form, Email Subscribers & Newsletters] Unsubscribe LinksOk thanks, if not swapping to the paid version how exactly do we link back to a page in the free version?
From memory I think there was a {BLOGLINK} keyword – if so is that what you are referring to? And where is it set? I looked before I posted but couldn’t find it.
Many thanks in advance.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] The working version of the plugin 4.7I have a contact form not working too – just get the standard error message of ‘There was an error trying to send your message. Please try again later.’ when trying to send a message.
