OK, now I’ve got a related problem. My old, non-widgetized sidebar had things like CSS/XHTML validating utilities, and I want to put them back. Do I make a new small text box and put HTML/PHP in there, or what?

EDIT: The small text box idea worked, but the text does not have the same formatting, plus any PHP in there doesn’t work. Any ideas?

Well that’s not exactly what I need. I need something that will randomly display random quotes, like the 101 Tech Quotes plugin, only the quotes won’t have a name attributed to them. I would modify the 101 Tech Quotes plugin, but I don’t know PHP that well.

It works! I’ll admit, I wish the WP dev team would’ve made it so you could use the tag outside of the loop, but this is great!

First thing is change the title on the first page. “New Page 1” is very unbecoming.
