In reply to: [WP Download Codes] [Plugin: WP Download Codes] Download stop at 21mbHm, we did actually just change something in the download form which in no way affects the way how files are streamed to the browser for download.
Maybe you experience a side effect from another change on the server?
Anyway, you could also try to revert back to version 2.0 and see if it’s working.
Yes, with some server configurations, the correct absolute path cannot be determined and must be hard-coded. Thank you for solving the issue by yourself!

In reply to: [WP Download Codes] Capture email addressHi,
Yes, there is a chance. I will take this as another possible feature for the product backlog, and we will try to implement that. Due to lack of time this could take some time.
Best regards,
Armin
Thanks for your remarks. I was not aware about a 9999 code limit, but I will check. Furthermore, you are completely right with the confusion which could be caused through mixup of numbers and letter. I will also think about that for one of the next versions.

In reply to: [WP Download Codes] [Plugin: WP Download Codes] Multiple Files, Just One codeAd 1:
Doing all developments in my spare time which is nearly not existing, I think your first request is too complicated to be implemented in the near future. Why don’t you pack all the files in one zip and set the number of maximum downloads to 1?Ad 2:
This is already considered in the feature backlog, but I don’t know when to find the time to built this in. It was of high priority to fix the Firefox issue which is hopefully not existing in 1.3 any more.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [WP Download Codes] [Download-Code] Problem With the PluginThis database error seems not to be related to the plugin as it does not query any post data or similar. Maybe it is related to your template or other plugins.

In reply to: [WP Download Codes] [Plugin: WP Download Codes] Update for WordPress 3.1?If have just uploaded a new version 1.3, which is not final yet, but this might solve all recent problems as well as the Firefox download issue.
@besatree: Your error is related to the PHP version you are using. It should be >= 5.0, as in prior versions the scandir() function is not available.

In reply to: [WP Download Codes] [Plugin: WP Download Codes] Update for WordPress 3.1?In my deployment it works fine with 3.1, but there are still errors with some Firefox environments. In the next plugin version 1.3 I will deal with that, hopefully. It should be available at the beg. of June.
The class “dc-download-code” was exactly intended to provide to capability to style the whole thing. I just confirmed that it works with my style.css, so maybe there is something configured differently in your CSS environment.
You could use Internet Explorer and press F12. Then you could navigate to the respective div with the download code and get presented the different CSS rules applied to it. Maybe you find out this way what the reason is.
As the main and only developer I am really sorry for this. I did not find the reason for this yet, and as I do all the developments in my rare spare time, I cannot manage to afford the necessary effort.
I would highly appreciate any PHP developer who can have a look at this and help me solving the issue.

In reply to: [WP Download Codes] [Plugin: WP Download Codes] Form styleCurrently, there is no dedicated way to modify the HTML, but you can style the form with CSS. If you look at the rendered HTML code, there is a <div> with the class attribute “dc-download-code”. This might be a starting point.
Hi,
Just put the shortcode
[download-code]
somewhere in a post or in a page, and that should be it. You can customize the text snippets (e.g. the one for an incorrect code) via the plugin settings.
Hope this helps you out.

In reply to: [Plugin: WP Download Codes] Code deletion after use?Currently, there is no functionality to delete codes after reuse, you would have to delete the codes manually from the respective table. I will note this as a feature proposal, and maybe in it will be implemented in the next version.
What OS are you on? And which plugins have you installed?
