There can be a multitude of reasons. Plugin related: Did you move to a new version and did it happen directly afterwards? Or did your provider introduce a change? Or did you install/update any other plug-in (e.g. caching related functionality)?

This is something I have to think about. The download code is meant to be a temporary lease for a one-time download, so it’s rather for a single request not for multiple requests during a folder browse. In the use case you are describing, one might rather want to provide a long- or mid-term download account for the user. What do you think?

Did you install the plugin for the first time? Which WP version are you using?

Could you be a little more precise about the reproduction steps and the description of the issue? Does “The page won’t open” mean that the page is not displayed at all?

I just committed version 2.5.0 which does not yet include your feature request, but it is planned for the next version. It will just require some time to plan out the data model and configuration extension which is necessary to achieve this.

Hi,

I committed a new version 2.5.0 today which includes the fix of the behavior which was described above. Means that when adding multiple shortcodes for different release ID’s, only messages and links are shown for the release to which the code entry relates.

I tested multiple scenarios, but please let me know if anything does not fit your expectations.

Release version 2.5.0 was just committed by me. The removal of ob_end_flush() as requested above. I hope that it still works for all users and scenarios. If not, let me know.

Hi Andi,

I created a new version 2.5.0 today and included your request as an experimental feature. What you have to do after upgrading is to provide the name of the anchor element to which the user’s page shall be scrolled to after entering in the shortcode definition.

For example:
[download-code id=”3″ anchor=”myanchor”]
