For technical dummies like me it’s hard, I was putting it without ‘div’

@spacetime I know, but how do I prevent it from getting inserted in my Table of Contents? Contents are generated before headings, and sometimes there are 3 paragraphs before it so the ad ends up being inserted in the Table of Contents.

@spacetime how do i do that if my ads are supposed to get inserted every four paragraphs?

Now it does load… can I ask why did this change suddenly help it? The tech team from my ad network had problems figuring out what was wrong.

@spacetime I changed it but nothing has happened yet (I also purged cache).

Interestingly enough, I am using this code for both pages and the homepage of the same site and they load properly. It suddenly stopped working yesterday, before it has been the same code for over a year.

I tried troubleshooting, and when I checked for ‘above header’ and ‘output buffering’ on the posts pages, it shows like this. There is none of them even though I inserted the Rich Media into ‘posts’ too.

This is the homepage, which works and shows both ‘above header’ and ‘output buffering’.

I tried previewing it on Facebook but it shows my logo instead and I have no clue why.

It seems to work on some articles while on others it fails to preview.

I finally found the answer to this.

For anyone wondering, this is caused by WordPress inserting “&nbsp” instead of normal spaces if I copy it from some site directly to the editor.

I am not sure how to stop this from happening but it’s fixable by copy-pasting it first to Notepad and then copy-pasting that text into WP editor.

I am really not sure what you mean. I have never added any “&nbsp” nor edited my HTML directly, I only did some customization with Additional CSS and it did not involve “&nbsp”. I only changed my line-height and minor changes to appearance.

This is the only thing I altered, along with changing it to disc-style from square.

I have no idea what that is, to be honest, nor where I can find it…

I guess that would work but that does not really look neat…

Is there a way to make it work so that it would go on the next line with a whole word instead of breaking it randomly at any character? It seems to have issues with commas, plain text without commas works normally. I have trouble understanding why.

Hello @bikku and thank you for your assistance.

I added the following code but when I set the max-width to 420px, then it messed up the pc version and was breaking it randomly at any character. I set it to ~645 and on pc it worked as before (on pc it always shows normally) but on phone it does not seem to do anything. It’s still breaking at any random character, so for example supernatural will have ‘l’ randomly on the next line. ??

I am not sure what to do.

@estherschoen I don’t see any gap, I see an ad there
