In any case, in Facebook I deleted the first feed I tried to create with Product Feed Pro and followed all the steps to create a secondary feed. But the errors persist and even new errors have appeared (product ID):
Some products or properties were rejected because of the following:
No existent item with current id: id
This secondary feed is trying to update an item that doesn’t exist inside the catalog.
Invalid override: override
This item has an override value that could not be recognised. For country overrides use the ISO codes and for language overrides use locales.I am using the US ISO code and selected the first option for a secondary feed: country. I had manually entered some items in the FB catalog, maybe this is why FB thinks it’s a secondary feed? Yet I don’t want to delete these either in case I never get the feed thing to work.
Thanks again for replying so quickly!
Hmm…Do I need a base feed AND an override feed? All I want to do is to create just a feed from my WordPress multi-site setup’s one site (with WooCommerce) to the Facebook shop. I don’t even understand why the whole override issue arises, as the feed is US (from a US-based shop, the URL contains US, the prices are in USD, and the business address is in the US) and the Facebook shop is set up as US with a US address and tax ID.
Also, another detail that may be helpful (?) is that when I activate the Product Feed Pro plugin from the WordPress network site, when trying to access the feed settings, the page just goes blank and no settings are accessible. I need to deactivate it from the network site and activate it only for the one site I’m working with in order for the plugin to work as expected.
Hello,
Thanks, you guys are awesome for reacting so quickly! However, I’m afraid I still have bad news. The good news is that creating the Override and Country Code on two separate lines issue seems to be solved after the update.
But when using the new Override feature (and the code “US” in the Woocommerce column, entered as a static value), I still keep getting the exact same error: “A required field is missing: override
Products without “override” information can’t be uploaded. Please check that this field is included for each product in a separate, labeled column.”When creating a new static custom field myself, entering “override” in the FB column and “US” in the Woocemmerce column, the error I get when trying to upload the feed is “This item has an override value that could not be recognised. For country overrides use the ISO codes and for language overrides use locales.”
Sounds great. I finally managed to get time to return to this topic — apologies.
Thanks. Seems like this issue is now fixed. Just a bit of feedback to you:
I absolutely love the logic and simplicity of the back end. A+ for that. The shortcode generation and use is also very logical. I wouldn’t mind supporting your development work with some amount for all of that. BUT here come the shortcomings:
I’m using a dark theme, and the look of the alternating dark and light rows is horrendous. Maybe add another tab in the back end to set the colors?
Also, the color change on hover on the front end is horrendous and distracting the way it is currently. There is and issue with the way the currency is displayed in table rows. In the US and the english-speaking world, the currency needs to be in front of the price and NOT in italics. And, there are additional features I wish for. I’d like to be able to click on both the picture and the description of the product, which would then call a pop-up (or just link to the product page, but a pop-up would be better – perhaps there could be a control to choose between the two options). I’d certainly be willing to pay something for all of this, but €29 or whatever it was, is way too much. There are comparable plugins for 22 USD. This is all just as feedback and something to think about. I do hope this product brings you success. Best!Appears that the problem has to do with DB corruption in the transfer process. I manually exported and imported the database, and the problem is now solved without any additional changes to DB user names, passwords, or permissions. haven’t checked the entire site yet to see if the files were all transfered as they should, but keeping my fingers crossed.
Meaning which details more specifically? I installed a fresh WordPress instance, which was working fine before attempting to migrate onto it. Used the same mysql details during the migration as during the installation…

In reply to: [Search Regex] ADDITIONAL USAGE NOTESThanks a ton for this user guide. Without it, I would have never been able to figure out how to accomplish what I needed. But just in case somebody else has a similar problem to mine, here is what I needed to do:
I had code written by another developer/CMS copied from the site I was working on (no access to the innards), and it included unnecessary folders and directories which I needed to delete. About 500 instances of these.
So by using the above guide, I was able to figure out that my search string should be:
@/uploads/music/*.*/files@
where *.* was random numbers, anything from 1 to 753, and my replace string was
/uploadsTHANKS!

In reply to: [Custom Sidebars - Dynamic Sidebar Widget Area Manager] Good But…Hi Nastia,
I think you are getting my reply mixed up with that of @tsomo6380. I had the same experience as you, and specifically stated the plugins I have used without issues.

In reply to: [Custom Sidebars - Dynamic Sidebar Widget Area Manager] Good But…I have used cloning plugins several times (such as WP Staging and All-in-one WP Migration), and have migrated from server to server, and have never encountered the described issue. Perhaps it depends on the method of migration? I just clone precisely, which does not affect any plugins in any way.

Thanks once again for your time spent on this issue. IE is not my regular browser of preference, so I just happened to have whatever version I had at the moment. As you can infer, I’m not normally using it unless there is a specific reason to do so. Which is why I happened to have IE9.
Thank you once again! It is really helpful. Maybe I should then just not worry too much, as the chances that there is somebody with a configuration as odd as mine should be slim? Perhaps I could use the EU mandatory cookie notification to also inform of potential IE issues. Anyway, here is what it *should* look like so far (meaning with the work already done on it):
https://postimg.org/image/rnh0oyt6v/This is what it looks like in my IE9:

Hi Kevin,
Thanks so much for looking into this! This is my development site. Please excuse the mess, it’s work in progress. https://www.ttkonsult.ee/v-belWP/
