It almost worked. lol. but I had to do the css option because the first didn’t work but then it removed the email and url fields but also the POST COMMENT box. I will keep digging and see if I can figure it out. But you solved my main question which was the pink background. That was all I needed help with and I believe I’m good now. thank you so much.

Oh, I see. It does not require a name and email address. I just assumed it did
because it had asteriks next to them. Is there any way I can remoe the name, email and website url fields from the comment box so it’s not confusing?

Great and thank you for that and for the information. And I don’t know how to do a screenshot on my device, but it is the checkbox under the discussion tab on the wordpress dashboard. But I’m thinking now that it is not anything to do with the actual theme but possibly on wordpress. Either way it’s not that big of a deal. I mainly wanted help on the page and that worked so thank you very much for your help.
