Yes, that actually works just fine, you are right.
When putting a password protection on the directory in the backend, the files in the directory are shown in the fileAway page, but are password protected when you try to download them. That is a great solution.

    Thank you for your help,

It looks like it got fixed automatically by itself after 24 hours.
I will mark it as resolved.

    Thank you for the help.

Sorry for the duplicate posts. Things did not refresh online so I thought that they didn’t take.

I will check into the site to see if there are errors.
    Thank you for the suggestion.

    Mips.

Thanks. Things are starting to take shape now.
How can I show under “Type”, the word “directory”, rather than “dir” ?

Also, instead of showing the “Date Modified” column, how can I list a different column title such as “Info” and then show “Audio file” in that column if the file is an mp3, or show “Pdf file” if that file is a pdf document please ?

    Thanks,

    Thanks.
Not exactly sure by what you mean “Chrome sometimes has issues with that”. Does that mean that using Chrome, the user can circumvent the password, or is it simply that he will not have access to the files in chrome ?

Also, do you know please if there is an ability to set multiple passwords to access the same file directory ? Such that each person can receive a different personal password to access his or her files ?

    Thanks,
    Mips
