hi! thanks for your response.
For the second question, just to clarify, I wasn’t looking to display a user’s rating in their profile page (By that I mean, I wasn’t talking about how other people have rated the USER).
Instead, what I meant was, is there a way to list all of the posts that a given user has rated & the rating for each post, in the user’s profile page?
Thanks again!

In reply to: [Favorites] How to insert favorite button into Essential Grid entriesThanks so much for responding!
Actually, I asked the author of Essential Grid the same question, and it turns out the solution was to use this shortcode within the template editor:
[favorite_button post_id=%post_id%]
So, problem solved! But thank you for your help.

In reply to: [WebLibrarian] Standalone Kioski believe i am in the same situation as the original poster. I am looking to use this plugin in the context of a small church library.
I don’t know if you take feature requests, but maybe if there would be a way to add username and password fields to each Patron profile (or maybe a unique ID number), then a user could login from the front-end, and perhaps scan a book with a barcode scanner, and check it out or in him/herself. This would be great for small church libraries that are not always staffed. If a Patron would only be able to check in/check out books for himself (and not for any Patron in the list, like a ‘Volunteer’ could), that would be more secure.
(I think you might actually have a good number of people using your plugin for church libraries. After all, a public library or school probably would be using high-end software, or subscription services. This plugin is perfect for churches that are trying to create an online catalog on a budget. And incidentally, the one Youtube video I found on this plugin was using it in the context of a church.)
In any case, you’ve created a great thing here. I appreciate everything it can do.
following up on the original question, is there a way to create a page that would bypass the search box, and only display a list of books in a certain category?
If so, could you describe what kind of shortcode would produce such a page?
Many thanks.
ok. thanks i sent you an email
Hi, i just updated Caldera forms…. and now that has created a new problem –
I was using Caldera forms for parents to register their kids for our summer Day Camp. At the beginning, I had a radio box that allowed parents to select how many kids they were registering (1, 2 or 3).
Now, since the update, when 3 kids are selected, and i fill out the form entirely, Caldera doesn’t allow the form to be submitted, but instead, highlights any fields that were auto-completed in Chrome (using auto-fill settings), and rejects them – saying ‘entries invalid’ or something.
For the time being, I deleted my ‘3rd child child option’, and now, the form only allows for 2 children to be registered. With 1 or 2 children, the auto-fill/auto-complete entries in Chrome work fine. But I’m not sure why.
This does limit my form a bit. It works. But it’s now got a bug that didn’t exist before the update.
Any help for this would be greatly appreciated.
ok thanks!
thank you for your response. looking forward to this fix.
Thx!
