If it still appears after disabling your cache system you may need to clear your local cache and do a hard refresh on your browser.

They ask that you leave in the notice. You can find it in the footer.php file (wp-content/plugins/wptouch/themes/default/footer.php)

“If you modify it for yourself, please keep the link credit *visible* in the footer (and keep the WordPress credit, too!) that’s all we ask folks.”

I’m not sure but from what I’ve read, they’re going to add this feature in wptouch 2.0

This plugin is working like a charm on my 2.7.1 blog. Yes, upload the door.php file to your root directory for this plugin to work. I found that door.php was very easy to customize to fit the look of my blog.

What was causing this problem was AdMuncher. AdMuncher is an ad blocker I was using. Thanks for looking anyway…
