Complaining about a problem generally makes the problem last longer, because instead of developing, those people who could be figuring it out are now reading your rants and probably deciding to ignore you instead.

Maybe instead of constantly counter-ranting, you might be more productive or constructive walking people through how to diagnose the problem the problem on their servers and track down the source of the incompatibility.

Counter-rants are no better or no more useful than rants.

Thanks for reopening the ticket. Seems like Viper007bond wanted more specificity, which is fair. The problem is seen, in my testing and @skila reports, with fresh installs too, so I changed the component on the ticket from “upgrade” to “http.” Hopefully that will garner the ticket more respect.

I had the same problems as described in ticket #8590 upon upgrade. Requests were being served at a rate of 2 / second EVEN with WP-Super-cache enabled.

A downgrade to 2.6.5 yields 2.6 K requests / second again.

i have the same problem. i upgraded using the svn method and have this error despite deactivating all plugins. the presence of the tables is confirmed by checking the tables with mysql gui.

thank goodness for backups! i’ll wait for 2.3.1 or .2

Yup, looks like it should work for regulus as it also uses the wp_list_pages() function.
