In reply to: @font-face not showing correctly in SafariI found out the problem is Safari doesn’t show the small-caps font-style.
I would want to change it (text-transform to uppercase and reverting font-style to normal) by using conditional statements just for Safari.
Tried the [if Webkit].class { fix } method, but it doesn’t seem to work (tested it with Safari 5)
Any suggestions??Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Custom field (instead of url) in the commentsOK, thanks, the firestats flag seemed OK for my client.
I would have prefered the new custom-field menu, but this will also do the job.Thanks.

In reply to: Browser compatibility IE and SafariThanks, but unfortunately I’m a bit lost at this error page ??
I see it lists also some errors in the plugins scripts (Next Gen gallery and Lightbox). Does that mean some of the most used plug-ins are also not completely valid?
As for the font-face property, is it altogether not supported in valid CSS level 2.1? But then how to point the browser to some non-standard font?
For the searchbar I see transparency changing on hover is not supported, but I see no indication how the IE positioning error could be solved.
Could you please point me to some concrete solutions for it?
Thank you for your help.Forum: Fixing WordPress

In reply to: Add a home item in menu, image in the menuI found one plug-in that could do exactly what is needed for the first link, it’s called Page List plus. Thanks Tim Holt!
But I still have the problem to make the image-link in the last menu item. Any suggestions? Maybe one nice plug-in?

In reply to: Add a home item in menu, image in the menuSorry, but I don’t understand where to put this code? I don’t see it in header.php.
This is the link:
https://www.baksagaspar.com/vip-proba/Could you please check how to do it in this template? (the first menu link should be the Home=F?oldal, but with different title on the page itself; and the last should be link to p. English with the small flag)
Thank you.

In reply to: Removing text at the bottom, when Comments closedThanks I resolved the problem, I had to copy the two divs before the if, as you suggested:
<div class=”cleared”></div>
<div class=”art-PostContent-comm-clear”>
<?php if ( have_comments() ) : ?>
Now it works :-)) Thank you!!
I still have some issues of IE showing things differently than Firefox, but I’ll leave that, it is not really so important if it is hard to find-solve these things.
Cheers!

In reply to: Removing text at the bottom, when Comments closedSorry, but it didn’t work out :-(( It even had a bad styled other parts where the comments are open, and there are comments.
I put back my version. The background frame is not needed, I didn’t like it at the comments part.
What part is that which makes the Posts are open, but no comments yet?
I put the comments.php from WP default theme, after I unsuccessfully edited my Artisteer theme. And probably I put in all those mistakes also when trying to pull the margins more to the inside….
Would it be maybe helpful for you if I make you an account in WP? E-mail me please if you would agree to something like this.

In reply to: Removing text at the bottom, when Comments closedSorry about the comment text, it is OK now, I maybe didn’t refresh the cache completely.
Thanks for clearing the “comments are closed” removal, I didn’t realize from the previous post what to look for. Eg.:
https://www.baksagaspar.com/mind-jart/Now I have one more problem left, when I open the commenting but still no comments, it still looks messed up:
https://www.baksagaspar.com/mind-jart/mind-jart-info/mind-jart-lemez/Thanks for your help.
For the future, how is it best to start with a good commenting template, to not have this big mess? Is there some good template you could suggest for comments.php, which I could style later?Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Removing text at the bottom, when Comments closedThanks alchymyth, but I had no success in solving any of the problems :-((
I use pages for the site-elemenets, and not posts (single.php), but I also checked page.php, and it didn’t have that line you mentioned.
I’ll upload the php and css files if you could check them please:

In reply to: Footer moved after editing Comments.phpThanks esmi, inserting two closing </div> tags in comments.php did solve the problem!
But one problem still remains:
– I would like to separate the comment boxes more, to have a bit of empty space between the individual comments.
– for some reason the last comment-box shows a double line (I put a red border-bottom between them), this would be also nicer in usual one-line
