In reply to: [DsgnWrks Importer for Instagram] Some Instagram posts are not importedI’ve tried re-importing my posts and that no longer works. Working with the latest plugin version on WP 4.8.2
Any ideas would be very welcome, since I’ve not deleted 4 months worth of posts and I would really like to have them back ??
The solution was to revoke access on Instagram + delete user and re-make the user.

In reply to: [DsgnWrks Importer for Instagram] Re-import / UpdateI have found that deleting the post in my WordPress site, makes it possible te re-import the Instagram posts.
You might have to delete your user and delete the authentication of the plugin on Instagram itself to get this to work though:

In case anyone else runs into this issue: in my setup it seems to be that the thumbnail renders fine, but the ‘medium’ and ‘large’ sizes don’t, resulting in posts with a thumbnail rendering alright (such as in a tag overview page) but full detail posts missing the image and overviews using ‘medium’ size images not showing at all.
My guess it has something to do with the fact that ‘thumbnail’ size images are cropped square but ‘medium’ and ‘large’ images are scaled. Maybe this causes those sizes not to be generated by WordPress when importing the Instagram images? Just a thought.
I couldn’t get it to work by changing my ‘medium’ and ‘large’ sizes but maybe this offers a clue to anyone else having the problem. Might be a Wp bug (I’m on 4.4.2)It might not make sense but I’m having the exact same issue.

In reply to: Custom post type keeps logging me outTurns out a piece of javascript in the plugin was causing the logout. No idea why (it just ads a dynamic dropdown menu) but removed it.

In reply to: Previous / Next Links not workingI haven’t found any sollutions, so I changed my permalinks to /%postname%/, dropping the /blog/ in front of it. Now the pagination works, but of course the URL of an individual posts now also loses that /blog/. So much for customisation.

Something else I’ve discovered, my working ‘page2’ is situated at https://www.mindbase21.be/page/2/
instead of
https://www.mindbase21.be/blog/page/2/ which is the one my navigation points toForum: Fixing WordPress

No changes made to the PHP code of my template (it’s just get_header(); in the top of the page, no code about how many posts to show).
I use WordPress 2.6 and in the admin panel set a static page for homepage + page for the blog. My blog is located at https://www.mindbase21.be/blog and the permalinks go to blog/%postname%
Everything works fine in the blog, until I want to got to the next page, then I get mysite/blog/page/2 and it’s an error “not found”One thing that I found odd, was that my blog page doesn’t use my blog.php template that I made but instead the index.php (doesn’t really matter now ’cause the code is identical)
