This. I’m having the same problem. It completely hijacks some other plugins options page with advertising. I disabled, the whe I go to that particular option it leads me to a page like this
https://www.mysite.com/wp-admin/options-general.php?page=yuzo-welcome&tab=compare&install_data=true

With a message tha I have no permision to acces this page. I’m truing everythinh, since uninstall, install again – IT DOES NOT WORK. This is exasperating, there are other people complaining about the same, your only answer is a new fix new fix is updated, problem persiste even worst.

Now I don’t really know what to do, deleted the plugin folder, searched functions, wp-config, even dropped database tables… no solution.

This plugins, has, as the another user said: hijacked my WP backend.

Any particular reason why you don’t offer another solution that to reinstall the plugin? o install an older o newer version? I just want to get ride of it!

WHAT’S NEXT, ASK WORDPRESS TO PAY ATTENTION TO THIS? SEEM ANOTHER GROUP OF SUPPORT THAT DOES NOT CARE ABOUT ANYTHING.

So what now, a completely reverse backup from hosting. losing all changes.

Sorry for the delay. I was able to change the CSS on my main site – as your plugin definitely rocks, I have installed it in another site.

On this one, I cannot make any changes, can’t find the solution ??

The changes I would like to make via Custom CSS are: make the font a little bit bigger, and the links to appear in color red

It is a security concern for me. It’s not the case that search engines pick up the post, but other people seeing my URL there and it becomes vulnerable to bad practices – spam, security attacks, black hat SEO etc. I know a site is vulnerable for all that, but having it posted in a public forum where has nothing to do with the site itself attracts malicious practices. It’s not being paranoid, it’s being cautious. I should have never posted it, but realized later that I couldn’t edit nor delete the post. You provide me with the rules of WordPress I can provide you with several articles that prove my point but I guess is useless. I cant believe that in a public forum, one cannot delete or edit our own posts. Nice practice WordPress.

No problem. I have asked nicely in another thread of WordPress if they could remove what they call sensitive information. Let’s hope they consider it. Thanks again. ??

Sorry for the many post David. I want to close this topic, but I wanted to know if there is a way from your side to delete the URL of my site? I don’t like to have mu URL on public forums, etc. I possible, could you that? Or maybe delete the thread? I don’t if I’m asking too much, if for security purposes – from my side I cannot edit or delete anything :(.

Cause I don’t know how to manage it. I would love to have it for different browsers as it shows there. ??

Hello David, I managed to change the font size following the method shared by another member on the forum, but I cannot finnd a way to change the color. I would like to be red #CD1C1F and hover blue.

Hello thanks for aswering. I did all that. the 3 sites using wordfence are in the same hosting. Just about an hour ago, the site with few post was able to finish the scan. My system requirements are not a problem. The plugin was working ok in the same server about 7 or 8 days ago. The other 2 sites, get stuck – these sites have not a lot of post, themes or plugins. It’s in Google safe browsing when it gets stuck for some reason, it always gets stuck at 19 files checked. Thank in advance for your help ??
