As per an email to your support@ address a few minutes ago, no improvement. As I granted your team access to our website, please test it there before posting again that it’s resolved because, though I really appreciate your efforts, it’s not better yet.
Please help! I’ve written repeatedly to the support@ address you suggested and I’m not hearing from you back.
Initially, i had a lot of time left to deal with this but two months have passed waiting. I’m getting a bit anxious now, as the event for which I need to make this change is coming up; I never dreamed I’d be still dealing with this after two months.I’ve followed all directions for doing the “Copy site info to clipboard” and sending that. I’ve added you to my safe senders. Wondering if you’re under the impression you’ve sent me anything since then or if it’s still in the queue. Would really like to be able to work on this site and this is a total stumbling block.
If it helps my last note’s subject line was “RE: RE: [Replace Image] When selecting the replacement, it just adds another with different URL [#349015”As requested, I wrote to that address right away. And two weeks later. And again tonight. Very eager to make progress on this but I never received a reply. Thank you!

In reply to: Keeping Google spiders away from a pageI already had Yoast set up and did not know it could do that; thank you and that part is now done, I believe. I do have Google Webmaster tools, but it’s a big thing (and I’m a little non-techy). Can you guide me in how to go into GWT and tell it to stop showing that page?
It wasn’t that css wasn’t doing it’s thing…it DOD changed the side margins but not the top ones.
Regardless, you were MUCH more on target with the second one. That was just what I needed (tweaking the numbers, of course).
That and learning that CSS changes do not seem to be reflected when I do “preview changes” (frustratingly) but they do show up after “Update”.
Now it looks good. Thanks so much!
Note: Odd that i have to say the page number. you’d think it’d know it was about THIS page! Any insight? Is there no generic “this page” terminology?
appreciate the help lorro, but that didn’t do what I hoped.
The top and the bottom margins were unchanged, even when I pumped them up to 110!
But more significantly, it ADDED 30px of white on either side of the text, making the text area itself larger and different from all the other pages. I didn’t want 30px more white on either side…I wanted the text to start a bit more toward the middle and wrap 30px sooner so it wouldn’t get so close to the right edge.
I also tried this:
.page-id-1247
{
margin-top: 100px;
margin-bottom: 100px;
margin-right: 150px;
margin-left: 50px;
}but that set margins on the WHOLE webpage. I’m just trying to affect the white area in the middle so that it looks more like this page:

… just without the sidebar.Thanks so much!

In reply to: How can I add blank space at the beginning of a line?Thanks for your reply! That’s great info to have (I missed that I even HAVE a numbering option thanks to WP-Edit) and definitely better than not having an option, but I still prefer my format indenting of the numbers (the one I was able to create with the white underscores) where I have the hanging indent on line two. I just like that look better. Surely this can’t be so hard. Feels like, in WP, I’m always having to settle for what defaults are OR I’m always looking to find a work-around ??
I’d still like to know if there’s just a way for ME to have control over inserting some blank spaces without WP erasing it.

In reply to: [WP Edit] Should i deactivate or somehow remove TinyMCE?That was definitely it. I must have done that back when I set up WP-Edit? Not sure I understand why deleting TinyMCE undid it, but the important thing is that it’s back (with some other additions I might use as well).
Tried to thank you yesterday but, for some reason this week, www.remarpro.com keeps showing as being down even though my internet connection is fine. So it crashed when I hit post.
I try again periodically and suddenly it’ll work again. Odd.
Anyway, thanks!!!Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [WP Edit] Should i deactivate or somehow remove TinyMCE?Yikes! That delete worked alright…now I have no box that says “Font Family” or “Font Size” in either the regular Visual mode OR in the “Visual Editor” of “Page Builder”. I guess that I must have gotten those drop downs from TinyMCE, but I assumed such common and important options were now being brought to me by WP-Edit instead. I really need those! I still have trouble understanding how those could not come standard in WP 4.1…who doesn’t set the fonts and sizes in places?
How do I get those critical dropdowns back? Hopefully not by having to reload a plug-in you’re no longer recommending.
See screen print of what I’m talking about at:
https://www.miloshapiro.com/temp/temp.htmThanks! Hoping i won’t be sorry that I deleted that. Stuck for being able to work on the site til this is fixed!

In reply to: [WP Edit] Should i deactivate or somehow remove TinyMCE?worked thanks!
True, most users wouldn’t have all that many slides, but I spent about an hour last night trying to figure out how to rearrange them, when (with that great plug in that i never would have known about without your wonderful help) it became super-intuitive how to rearrange them if I ever needed to.
I’d suggest that there’s nothing complicated to a user about that feature being there if it’s never used, but it’s a terrific feature when you DO want it…and it’s sure hard to know what all the plug-ins out there do. Never even occurred to me that a plug-in COULD do that to another plug-in. ??
Happy new year and thanks again!

In reply to: [WP Edit] Should i deactivate or somehow remove TinyMCE?oh, i just saw that there’s also, in the black column at the far left, an option called TinyMCE . When I click on that, though, I don’t see an option called Databases, either. I DO see an option called “Uninstall Plugin” which seems like the right way to go, but now that you’ve told me that I should be looking for a tab saying Database, I want to hold off for further instructions from you.

In reply to: [WP Edit] Should i deactivate or somehow remove TinyMCE?Sorry to be dense, but I must be looking in the wrong place to start.
When I find the Ult. TinyMCE in my plug-in list, I see:Settings | Support Forum | Deactivate | Edit
I don’t see an option for Database.
Guessing that I’m not even starting out right?that WOULD be nice! If I load that, it works in conjunction with Meteor Slides specifically? Would be great if the next version of MS included that rather than having to know about a plug-in. ??
