Ok, the php version is actually the problem: some of the code in the script functions only with php 5.4 and later versions. If this is a common issue, we must think about a workaround.

Oh yes: and what other plugins you are using currently? I could try to replicate the issue myself.

It could indeed have something to do with your webhost.

I just uninstalled the plugin from a couple of my sites and reinstalled it from the repository with no problems.

Do you know which version of php your hosting service uses?

the schema is added to the end of html body, search for @type in the source view to see it. So actually it is under the footer ??
