Hi @gamattox
I tested the feed and I’m able to load the characters just fine. Would you please open a personalized ticket via [email protected] so that we can have a closer look at your setup?
Hi @gamattox
I did test the feed from my end and I’m also not able to fetch the feeds using the plugin. There seems to be a limitation from the Nasdaq feed host that’s preventing access to the feed via Curl. I would recommend that you reach out to the feed’s hosting for further confirmation on any access limitations.

Hi @fravemelupv
This is most likely due to the fact that every fetch and update operation relies on the WP Cron system, which is a task scheduler in WordPress. Cron tasks corresponding to these operations require CPU threads for execution, and these can be quite CPU intensive.
The best way to mitigate this problem is to schedule your feed imports for better performance. We have a detailed knowledge base guide on how to achieve this.
Hi @mollernina
Is it possible that your feed source is failing as it’s detecting the incoming feed items as duplicates? Would you mind sharing some more details on your setup?
Looking at the feed items on your site, they link back to the source; however, there’s a limitation on the source preventing accessing the specific URL; this is where the error is showing up from. I’m afraid this not something that you can validate from the plugin’s end.
Is it possible that the imported feed item’s link is no longer valid? Would you please check with the feed source to validate the source URL?
Hi @irishrunner16
Your feed source is valid, and I was able to import posts from the feed just fine. Regarding source from the same domain, there’s no limit preventing the same.Would you please send a message to the support team via [email protected] to further examine the issue?
Hi @kolco

Hi @rsalars
Thanks for the follow-up.
Sure, you can import an excerpt from the feed source as well. You can also limit them by a number of words. You can turn off the Import post excerpt option and instead use the word trimming feature to generate a short excerpt from the content.
Hi @rsalars
By default, the plugin will only pull the content in the description section from the feed source. Would you mind sharing some more details on how you are testing this?
Hi @seattlelion,
I have passed the query to Miguel our CTO for confirmation on the same. I’ll let you know once I have an update on the same.
Hi @p3t3rr
WPRA provides an option to filter feed items from the feed source based on factors such as keywords, age, tags, and so on. You can also limit the number of posts you would like to import per feed source.
However, there is no option to ‘hand-pick’ the specific feeds items to import.
Out of the box, we do not have add-ons that can achieve this. You would need to extend the feed to post add-on to display and sort the feeds as expected.
Hi there,
Since this is a premium add-on query, please open a support ticket at [email protected] for a more personalized look at the issue.
