    Hi. I’m still hoping to get some advice here. Thank you. – Mike

    Thanks for the reply. Sorry, but I wasn’t specific enough. I currently have the Review Authors add-on running on my film review website and it works fine for users to edit entries when they have left both a star rating AND a written review. But what I have done using shortcode is created custom user profile tabs inside the ProfileGrid plugin, one tab where users can see only their written reviews and one tab to see only their star ratings. This way, when they click on their Reviews tab, each of their reviews shows the Edit button so that’s great. But when they click on their Ratings tab (star ratings only), it shows the ratings but they are static with no ability to edit. The shortcode I’m using for this Ratings tab inside ProfileGrid is:

    [site_reviews assigned_users=”user_id”? theme=”40429″ display=”20″ pagination=”ajax” filters=”filter_by_rating,sort_by” hide=”author,avatar,content,date,images,response,title”]

    Inside this Ratings tab, users can click on the title of each rated film, and that brings them to the film’s page, but their star rating doesn’t show on the film’s page either because I have also used shortcode (a tip provided by you or one of your co-workers) to hide on each film’s page all the reviews that are star ratings only and ONLY show the reviews that include a written portion. (I don’t want simple star ratings cluttering up the Reviews displayed for each film, but those ratings ARE incorporated into the average rating at the top of each film’s page.) The shortcode I’ve added to the bottom of each film’s page to display ONLY reviews that have written portions is:

    [site_reviews assigned_posts=”post_id”
    display=”10″ pagination=”ajax” filters=”sort_by” assigned_terms=”has-content” theme=”41644″ hide=”assigned_links,avatar,images,response” ]

    So, it seems my challenge is the fact that I am trying to isolate written reviews from reviews that only include a star rating. Do you have a suggestion for getting around this and allowing users to edit their star ratings even when they’re not attached to a written review? Hope this makes sense. Thanks. – Mike

    Thanks very much on the fast response. And for the clarification on the Twitter field – yes, most people don’t think of their Twitter handle as a URL, so changing that would be pretty important. For now I’ve made that clear in the placeholder text.

    As for the password problem, yes, it turns out I had hidden the desktop form on mobile so I could change the background of the form for mobile. So only one form was always visible but the responsive settings had in fact left two forms on the page. Thanks for the help!

    Wow, thank you. I’ve made sure everything is set up properly with the dashboard and searches and filters are still getting zero results. (Sorting by clicking on the column headers does work.) Anyway, I’ll give it some time and maybe it will come back. If not, I will open a ticket at the other support forum.

    Your responsiveness has been outstanding. Thank you very much. I’m going to go leave a review right now.

    Dang! That did the trick. I feel dumb for that one. That did not fix the problem with the dashboard search and filter I mention above, FYI. And one final question: How can I get rid of “Review of” before the assigned links? I don’t see that option in the list of changeable strings.

    Actually, the categorization ran me into another problem too. It seems there’s a conflict between assigned terms and assigned posts. When I’m trying to display the reviews assigned to a given film post on that film’s page (again I’m using an Elementor template for more than 1,000 films), ALL of the reviews for all of the films are appearing. When I remove the assigned-terms from the shortcode, then it only displays that film’s reviews but includes the ones without content. Here is the shortcode I’m using in an Elementor shortcode widget in the template:

    [site_reviews assigned_posts=”post_id”
    display=”10″ pagination=”ajax” filters=”sort_by”
    assigned_terms=”has-content”
    hide=”assigned_links,avatar,images,response” ]

    Again, when I remove the assigned-terms part, then it seems to only include the current film’s reviews, but won’t limit it to the has-content category. Any suggestions? I have deactivated and activated the plugin and cleared all my cache, still no luck. If it would be easier for me to handle this in the premium support forum, let me know. Thanks. – Mike

    Hooray! This code worked. And thanks for recommending the Code Snippets plugin – it actually allowed me to deactivate two other plugins. Now, I have one other Site Reviews problem. The All Reviews dashboard page is displaying all the reviews but when I try to search or filter by any terms, it returns zero results. Clearly, the search and filter function is not working in the dashboard. Any suggestions?? – Mike

    Ah, categories sounds like a great idea. I get how I can use the shortcodes that way, per your suggestions above, but my question is do I have to manually categorize each review as it comes in depending on whether or not the user included a written portion? Hope not. Is there a way that a review can be automatically categorized depending on which fields are left blank? For example, what I have now is one review form to be filled in at the bottom of each film page where the rating is mandatory and the review title and review text fields are both labeled optional. How can I categorize each review automatically depending on what they fill out (or leave blank)? Thanks!

    Excellent! Thank you for the timely and detailed response. I will try these steps and report back.

    Ah, thanks for the clarification. Somebody brought it to my attention that they couldn’t change their photo under Edit Profile. Now I’m thinking I should add a line of text to the Edit Profile form telling users how to change their profile pic – can you suggest a quick way for me to add that text? I assume with CSS, but I’m not a natural developer, so would need some guidance. Thanks.

    Oh, and on the other matter, I will use the form you shared.

    Thanks very much! I could have sworn I had already done that, but just did it again, and now the default pic seems to be appearing. Sorry for the dumb question, but thank you!
