I’m looking for a beginner’s step-by-step guide to configuring WordPress 3 for multiple blogs using a single site and single database, including how to display a chosen blog or multiple blogs at a time. Not having used previous versions, I’m sure of the possibilities, such as having one post from blog A in the main area and blog B being displayed in a side bar. I’ve gotten so far with the official guide to enable multi-site, but I want to use sub folders rather than sub domains if this is possible? I’d like to be able to combine several blogs in differing arrangements on the same site to create most “page” content from blogs rather than static pages.
