Your answer tempts me to look at not disabling Gutenberg for a while – I may give it another go when I have time.

Having got my mind round WordPress, everything seemed to change too much, with zero choice in the matter, and I had work to do, with no time to work out something new.

Maybe will look again soon

I do realise HOW it is supposed to work and how it may possible to change the speed, but it doesn’t seem to work for me – whatever number I use, nothing changes
