That is your fault. I use hundreds of plugins, if your instructions are not clear, then that needs to be addressed.

We didn’t have WooCommerce or any other member permission related plugins.

Right now, my ‘Contributor’ is broken and they can’t access anything.

Working fine in both. I’d disable other plugins one at a time until the culprit was found.

The last WordPress update seems to have resolved this. WordPress 6.4.2 works OK with Rankmath, no further issues.

We’re having this issue too. PHP 7.443. Removed anything effecting XML-RPC, unset it in Wordfence. Still getting a 403 refused.

Any ideas on what to test next?

That’s great, but I needed something to work 2 weeks ago. I used the plugin called “URL PARAMS”. It lets you use more than one keyword, like:

ourdomain.com?1=foo&2=bar&3=woo&4=yay

This doesn’t work. According to the logs, ‘some’ AWS connections log in as an authorised local user, and some AWS connections try to access info as something else, when those ones are blocked, the Zaps fail:-

I too have struggled for days to make Wordfence allow Zapier to access. It’s only trying to check for new blog posts!! I have uninstalled WF until this is resolved. Am currently having better luck with Cerber.

Bizarre. I disabled Elementor and Elementor PRO. The WPDataTables admin pages start working again. Re-activate Elementor and Elementor PRO and it all still works… I don’t use a caching plugin.

Further update. Turns out, it was Modsecurity blocking the customizer page. However, there was an issue with Wordfence trying to look for the settings in the wrong folder, which I think was compounded by the WordPress security in Plesk changing the prefix of the database!!

I will put WF back on again now and hopefully this is resolved!

I think it IS to do with WF.. I am getting Zapier errors too. Part of the log says this:

Good Morning Adam,

I reinstalled WF on Friday evening, so the site wasn’t unprotected over the weekend. I have checked it this morning, and it’s showing as still in learning mode ’til April 2nd. I don’t have any WF options involving this page, so I’m not convinced that WF is blocking it. I’m sure there is a permissions issue involving the Plesk Migration.
