    Thanks for the response!

Think ill go with the second route, although im in over my head with how to do a database lookup for the entry ID and user, which then outputs the correct shortcode for each iteration – sure Google will have all the answers I need though.

    Thanks again!

Just changed my post_max_size and max_input_vars to the ones mentioned, still no emails.

I have looked into this myself, found that this could all be due to a server side issue, where even though i have adequate memory set up in php.ini, the server is still not able to handle it due to some server configuration I am unable to control.

Been trying to sort this out with my host, but he’s not really being of much help.

Thanks for the suggestions and help!

I’m really starting to think this is all server related and I may need to consider a new hosting solution, but anymore help would be appreciated, willing to try anything to see if it works before changing my host.

    Thanks.

    Hi

    Thanks for the response.

I have done some research into this and narrowed down that this is a conflict with another plugin called WooCommerce Upload Files WCUF

So i disabled Yoast SEO and tried to do a test order with WCUF plugin enabled, all emails sent fine. Then i enabled both Yoast and WCUF, and emails do not send, i get a server error after clicking return to merchant from PayPal, yet I get no log in my debug log? Which is odd? So i decided to disable WCUF and enable Yoast and all emails sent.

So it must be a conflict between those two plugins.

I have tested for Javascript errors in the console during the whole test order process and saw no errors during the whole process.

I will be in contact with the developers of WCUF to see if they can help with my issue.

    Ill continue to investigate further.

    Thanks for helping.

    EDIT:

I also found this error in my cPanel log file

    6875 autoprint.co.uk [Wed Feb 20 00:41:02 2019] [error] [client 10.0.230.2:0] mmap() failed: [12] Cannot allocate memory

Yet I have 256M of memory allocated in my wordpress install and have tried upping it to 512M with no luck either.

    UPDATE
The above error still persists, even when the emails do send

    Side note:
I had been running my site over PHP 7.2 but this did not work with the WooCommerce Upload Files plugin, so reverted back to PHP 7

    There you go!

    Thanks for looking into it!

    Thanks for the reply!

Yeah i have looked at the Email FAQ section, none of them have worked for my case.

I have the email-log plugin installed on my site and can confirm that the emails were not sent, which is why i thought it must be a plugin conflict.

So the only way i have fixed this is as follows, I disabled Smart Slider 3, tired another order and everything was working fine, then i decided to enable Smart Slider 3 and disabled another plugin called Woocommerce Upload Files and again, everything works fine, but when i enable both those plugins the emails break, and it only seems to be for WooCommerce emails, forms on my site are working fine.

I have tried these methods multiple times, with and without an SMTP plugin, with still no luck.

Set up a debug on my site as well, where i get the below error.

[18-Feb-2019 18:51:10 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 175341568) (tried to allocate 1179648 bytes) in /home/sites/autoprint.co.uk/public_html/wp-includes/cron.php on line 111

Although this could or could not be related to why my emails are not sending, as this same error code appears in my debug log a fair few times and the time stamps do not match exactly when the order was placed.

    Hope you can help.

Nobody able to support me with this issue?

    Thread Starter mikemcox90

    (@mikemcox90)

So this is related to a plugin rather than wordpress its self? Its just odd as it was all working fine before I switched to https.

I guess i should speak to my host and try to figure out what plugin is causing this issue to fix this…all my current plugins are needed for my site to function properly so disabling/removing one is not really a viable option.

    Thanks for the insight!

    Thanks for the comment.

Yeah i am starting to think this is a memory issue, i have placed a info.php file in my ftp and checked it in my browser to find my memory is only set to 128MB, so I will be in contact with my host provider tomorrow to see if they can up it to 256MB and hopefully this will fix the problem.

So what you’re saying is, with the added HTTPS running through my site, it is causing extra memory to be used which is breaking the elementor editor from starting when i have too many plugins active?
