My apologies! The problem is solved and I should have reported back.
Your support was impressive! I had a response within a few hours and, since the problem seemed site specific, I set up a test site for your team to dig into. They found the problem within a few hours, reported back and issued an update the same day.It was all done in less than 3 days. I must congratulate you for your quick responsive and the professional and articulate way in which everything was handled!
Hi Danish
Okay, I’m marking this as resolved as I’ve found a way to solve the problem.
Kind regards

Okay, then I’ll be able to do it sooner.
Okay, will do. Please give me a couple of days to complete a project before I get onto it. Will you need FTP access?
Regards
MikeThanks very much for coming back to us Dave. It’s much appreciated.

MichaelThe same critical warning message started appearing on my websites today. Each uses Wordfence 7.2.2 and Updraft 2.16.6.

In reply to: [WPS Hide Login] Keeps sending to the 404 pageWhat Graham (@sandgroper) says is 100% correct.
I tested it on a clean installation of WordPress with no plugins installed.
When you try to access /wp-login.php, it goes to the default 404 page even if you chose to redirect to another page.
The problem is definitely in the plugin itself.

In reply to: [WPS Hide Login] Keeps sending to the 404 pageI have the same problem.
It correctly redirects to the designated page when a user tries to access wp-admin but goes to the 404 page when they access wp-login.
Hello Adrian
I support SewHappy58’s suggestion. Being able to use constructs such as {today}+14 or {today}-7 would make your plugin much more powerful, useful and popular.
I hope you will consider it.
Cheers!
Wonderful – it works perfectly. Thank you!
This is such a great plugin.
Sorry for the slow reply. I missed seeing the notification email until now.
I found that ‘must-be-one’ works when added to ‘class’ in the trigger statement.
I showed it incorrectly above as a targclass item in the content statement.
All I need now is a method of opening the page with one of the items expanded.
Thanks,

In reply to: [WP-SpamShield] All my sites crashedHi Scott
Sorry about my wording earlier, I wasn’t implying you were denying the issue but was just trying to be helpful in case there were any doubts.
Thank you for your helpful responses and fast turnaround in resolving the issue.

In reply to: [WP-SpamShield] All my sites crashedI have exactly the same issue with 10 sites to which I applied the v1.9.9.8.6 update.
WP-SpamShield is definintely the cause of it because as soon as I deleted the WP-SpamShield plugins on two sites via FTP (each built with different frameworks – Genesis and DIVI), the sites came back alive.
Without us all having to submit support requests, it would be more beneficial if you could please possibly publish your solution on this forum.
Thanks a lot.

In reply to: [Crelly Slider] This is not a no coding pluginIf you click ‘Edit’ on any plugin when you are on the Plugins screen, you will be presented with the code for that plugin. That’s a normal WordPress facility. You don’t need to go there to use this plugin.
To use this plugin, look at the WordPress Toolbar on the left where you found the Plugins link. Find the Crelly Slider link and click on that. That will take you into the Admin panel of the Crelly Slider where you can do everything you need without any coding.
You can set up multiple sliders each containing different sets of slides. For each slider, there is a shortcode which you will need to copy onto the page or post where you would like the slider to be displayed. That’s all you have to do.
If you aren’t sure about shortcodes, you will need to use Google and read up on them – they are quite simple to use.
Don’t bother going into plugin Edits. You’ll only need if you plan to modify plugins at a code level, which 99% of us never need to do.
Good luck and enjoy the slider (I only started using it yesterday for the first time and it was a breeze).
