In reply to: validation problem???My blog validates before I have any posts. However once I post, even a single word, I have a problem with ‘s.
To validate it I removed every post made, it validated fine. Then I posted a single word “credit”, just the word no symbols or html coding, but even that one word won’t let it validate because WP is putting the before the word.
Do I have something incorrectly checked in the options?
For example – Quote:
document type does not allow element “p” here; missing one of “object”, “applet”, “map”, “iframe”, “button”, “ins”, “del” start-tagCredit
The mentioned element is not allowed to appear in the context in which you’ve placed it; the other mentioned elements are the only ones that are both allowed there and can contain the element mentioned. This might mean that you need a containing element, or possibly that you’ve forgotten to close a previous element.
One possible cause for this message is that you have attempted to put a block-level element (such as “” or “<table>”) inside an inline element (such as ““, “<span>”, or “<font>”).
Can anybody explain what that means? Do I have an unclosed somewhere else? If so why does it validate?
When I look at the source WP is putting before each post
Thanks,

Thanks. Any idea what I need to tweak in the css? I figured it is the problem, but I don’t know what to do to fix it.

In reply to: Converted to WordPress, review pleaseNik,
Very nice looking. As a new blogger any pointers you can offer me in converting my Kubrick default into some similar. Not anything as nice, but better looking than the Kubrick default.

In reply to: InstallationShould I delete the current index.html so the the index.php takes over?
Looping, I’m sure I forgot, I don’t know what that is.
I’ll reinstall it again so I can triple check it and delete my cache. Then I’ll post again to let you know how that went.
Thanks,
Mike
