In reply to: [Anti-Malware Security and Brute-Force Firewall] Complete Scan seems to hangThanks for your quick support, it was – as always – very helpful!
Is this Object Cache any good anyway? I’ll leave it off for now.

In reply to: [Anti-Malware Security and Brute-Force Firewall] Complete Scan seems to hangAnother 40 minutes later and both scans don’t do anything visible.

In reply to: [Anti-Malware Security and Brute-Force Firewall] Complete Scan seems to hangI have to correct myself a little bit: I seems to work somehow, but incredibly slowly (about 20 files 15 minutes). And it does not update the Scan Status, only when I close and reopen it.

In reply to: [Anti-Malware Security and Brute-Force Firewall] Complete Scan seems to hangAs of today, I have the same problem with two of my sites, except, that the scan hangs at the very beginning. Both sites have the W3 Total Cache installed. On other sites without this plugin the scan works fine.
So I’m pretty sure that (in my case) there’s an incompatibility between W3 Total Cache and the latest version of Anti-Malware. I did not have this problem with previous versions.

Michael

In reply to: [Anti-Malware Security and Brute-Force Firewall] Scan runs incredibly slowlyNever mind, thank you. It is good to know that it is not an issue of my server. I’ll wait for the next regular release. Or is there any danger associated with this problem?

In reply to: [Anti-Malware Security and Brute-Force Firewall] Scan runs incredibly slowlyI have exactly the same problem at one of my sites – my only multisite installation, if this is of relevance. All versions are current as of today.

In reply to: [Polylang] WordPress SEO Sitemap not completeIt is a bit strange, but apparently it depends if you open the site map coming from the English or the German version. Either way, the English OR the German root directory is missing. See for yourself: https://blog.gensoup.com/sitemap_index.xml (The blog is brand new, so there are only two articles and a test page there). Probably it is not much of a deal, but it shouldn’t be that way either, am I right? ??

PHP version is 5.2.4-2ubuntu5.26
Today I had an even weirder error: I wanted to activate a newly installed totally unrelated plugin in a blog where BackWPup was running flawlessly. When I tried to active it I got the above error message from BackWPup. I had to deactive BackWPup in order to being able to activate the other plugin. Strange.

In reply to: [BackWPup – WordPress Backup & Restore Plugin] SQL dump not workingNope, this is not fixed yet, I’m getting the same error still in 3.0.4…

In reply to: [Catch Box] Catch Box not IE8 and IE9 compatible?A few more things on this issue: The theme itself seems to be compatible, but not so if used with a child theme, even if this is empty. I’m still a bit lost, but this is what I found out so far. Anyone else with this experience?
Moreover, above trick with META tags only works for IE9, not for IE8 (even if I target it specifically at IE8).

Michael

In reply to: [Catch Box] Catch Box not IE8 and IE9 compatible?Allright, I just noticed that the site loads correctly if I turn off compatibility mode in IE. Then I included the tag <meta http-equiv=”X-UA-Compatible” content=”IE=9″> into the header and now it seems to work. But isn’t the theme supposed to do this by itself?
