Just in case someone else sees this I want to let them know what I did:

1. I tried your suggestion last night and it didn’t seem to make a difference.
2. I clicked specifically on the the “ENABLE API” button in the Google API dashboard and specifically made sure I clicked on “Google Maps Geocoding API” but put the restriction back so I was sure to change one thing at a time.
3. I did not think to make the access unrestricted until you suggested it again.
4. With both the API enabled and the setting set to unrestricted it is now working. ??

Last– I am noticing that your Paypal Donate button does not appear to be working. ??

Also, I am not sure – will this also address the issue of the search initiating but not ever coming back with a result?

I did get an API key and put it in. I showing you screenshot of what it looks like in the google control panel and in the admin here. (All identifiable info is blurred out.)

I am having a similar issue issue.
The page loads fine initially but then it gives an “oops something is wrong” and the map stops showing.
on a search (I tried street address with zip code, and just zipcode) the little progress graphic runs but no result.
I am on hostgator. Are you saying that’s an issue?

Got it.
Disabling the secure page fixed the issue.

hmmm. I can’t seem to remove this thread. I figured out the issue with the old plugin.
I like this plugin so much better but I had to do the thing that got his ability to take orders up and running again. I’ll look into this at another time.

I didn’t do anything except update the plugin. Perhaps going back to the old one is an answer?

Which doesn’t exist. I have no secure server set up for this website. Supposed to go straight to PayPal. It did go to PayPal, until recently.
If you go to the site click visit the shop put anything in your cart as a try to check out you’ll see what I mean.
And by the way, how do I change that text “visit the shop”? I have tried and tried and can’t figure it out.

It looks like if I deactivate ALL the plugins I had, then reactivate the ones I had, it works.

Any way I can change my star rating?

Hmm. I have deactivated all plugins, including Akisimet.
The demo looks to be saving now.
I will test some more and get back to you. Thanks for helping me troubleshoot so far here. I obviously need to have certain plugins so IU wil add in one by one and see what happens.

OK. I did activate twenty fourteen theme. No Change.
I can check for conflict but this is test site with nothing on it so I don’t have much in the way of potential conflicts.
Could there be a permissions issue somewhere?
I will say i tried it on a client’s site on a different server with no problem.
I really love this plugin.
If I can get it to work on the server in question that will affect many other sites I run so I am very motivated.
I can and would be happy to give you FTP into that site or let you get any info you might need. Like I said it’s a test site so nothing sensitive on it.
