I also have this problem. Since the most recent WordPress update, the block editor just doesn’t work in Safari – unable to load the menu, create links, amend anything or even save a draft.
It’s all working normally in Chrome, so it must be a browser specific issue. Hoping it will be sorted soon, as I don’t really want to go back to using Chrome all the time.
