Is there a way though not to import xxx words of the article but just have the original link say “Continue Reading at…” and open it in a new window for all syndicated stories?

If you suffer this, check your WordPress plug-ins.

In my case the WP-YouTube-Lyte video plug-in was using the javascript code…

This Do Not Track code was blocking the Google Ads.

Turning the plug-in made the ads spring back into life immediately ??

Is there no plugin that will pull articles from any old RSS feed but only republish all or an extract from articles if the author name matches a specific string? ?? Bummer if not

That did it! :o) Unless I misread you it worked round the other way but creating that duplicate page sorted the issue nicely.

Still not working, sorry fella. I put the code into both my index.php and single.php files but it’s still publishing all the articles in full.

Is there maybe a different way to detect if there is more than one article on a page and excerpt them if there are?

I have no idea why or how, but when I reinstalled the latest Flash plug-in, which is the only change I’ve made, they suddenly reappeared.

Thanks, that fixed that problem, but now when I click on a category I no longer get excerpts but the whole article. :o( Back where I began really.
